The County Treasurer 's office is also responsible for collecting sewer bills. The bills are printed by the County Auditor and mailed by the Sanitary Engineer's office. We now accept quarterly sewer bills by direct debit from your checking or savings account. Contact either the Treasurers office or the Sanitary Engineers Office for an application or download the application from http://www.allencountyohio.com/tre/achOption.html

Sewer bills are due each quarter. Generally, they are due the first Friday of each quarter. After a phone call by an elderly taxpayer, we changed the due dates slightly. If the first Friday is too close to the beginning of the month, we changed the due date to Wednesday. Hopefully, this will help the elderly who receive their Social Security Checks at the beginning of the month. We have established the following due dates for the year 2004.

• 1st quarter of 2004 due 6/11/04
• 2nd quarter of 2004 due 9/10/04
• 3rd quarter of 2004 due 12/10/04
